Moqavemat (Persian: مقاومت) is a city in the Central District of Khorramshahr County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[2] The city's name translates as "resistance," a reference to the Iran–Iraq War. Moqavemat is adjacent to the city of Khorramshahr.
