Jeremy Fedryk (born May 11, 2000), known by his stage name Sarcastic Sounds, is a Canadian producer and vocalist.[1] He is best known for collaborating with Powfu and Rxseboy on multiple songs such as, "ill come back to you" (feat. Sarcastic Sounds & Rxseboy)[2] and "Eyes Blue Like The Atlantic, Pt. 2" (feat. Powfu, Alec Benjamin & Rxseboy),[3] along with making popular songs such as, "Disappointment" (feat. Rxseboy)[4] and "say goodbye".[5]
Early life and career
Jeremy Fedryk was born and grew up in Toronto.[1]
In his early teenage years, Fedryk was learning music production and was selling instrumental compositions online under the name "Sarcastic Asshole".[6] When he started making sales, he rethought the name and decided to change it to "Sarcastic Sounds".[7]
In 2017, he became interested in lo-fi hip-hop[6] and sample manipulation and started applying this style to his earliest singles. He also started his career mostly as a producer-writer, having credits with BoyWithUke, David Kushner, Mimi Webb, Arden Jones, and Powfu.[4]
In 2018, songs such as, "Jealousy", "I Can't Help", "I Don't Sleep", and "Frankie", all featured lo-fi and hip-hop elements.
Later that year, Fedryk collaborated with American producer Mannie Fresh for a week and made a beat that became "Mahogany" on Lil Wayne's 2020 album Funeral.[5][7] He later signed with Columbia Records.[7]
In 2021, Fedryk released a single, "Closure", featuring Birdy and Mishaal.[5]
In 2022, He released his first EP, "I'm A Disappointment", with features from Claire Rosinkranz, Clinton Kane,[6] and Rxseboy.[4] His EP got about 1 million streams on its first week.[4]
On April 14, 2023, He released a new single, "Stumbling", with the music video directed by Logan Meis.[1]
On April 18, 2023, Fedryk went on an 11-day tour with Arden Jones.[1]
On June 2, 2023, He released a new single, "Jaycee".[8]
