Soumont (French pronunciation: [sumɔ̃]; Occitan: Somont) is a commune in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region in southern France.
Geography
Climate
Soumont has a mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification Csa). The average annual temperature in Soumont is 14.6 °C (58.3 °F). The average annual rainfall is 981.6 mm (38.65 in) with October as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in July, at around 23.3 °C (73.9 °F), and lowest in January, at around 7.3 °C (45.1 °F).
